Friends of the Hudson River Greenway in the Bronx is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, community organization. Our mission is to advocate for and promote the creation of the Hudson River Greenway in the Bronx.
We work with our local elected officials as well as other community stakeholders to achieve the goals outlined in Community Board 8 Resolution (June 2014), which supports the creation of an all-river Greenway linking Manhattan to Yonkers and beyond.
We are dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the natural and historical features of the Hudson River in the Bronx.
It is our fervent belief that once built, the Greenway will enrich the cultural, economic, educational and recreational life of the communities of the northwest Bronx by vastly expanding access to our waterfront.
